Product Clinic

A Hydra Product Clinic

Hydra is an extremely flexible solution, allowing organisations to adapt the product to their own internal procedures and methodologies, Prince2 or Managing Successful Programmes for example. Long after the Hydra Management Implementation Team have left, internal processes may change, staff may also change and some may assume different responsibilities. Because of these changes 'blind spots' start to appear in your organisations product knowledge. Many users may have common questions about how the product should work in certain areas or, perhaps there are areas of the product that users are not exploiting to the full.

The purpose of the Product Clinic is to address the questions about the Hydra solution that are hiding within your organisation and to maximise existing functionality to ensure continued ROI. These are not support desk issues, and would not usually warrant a day of consultancy or a full training course.

The Product Clinic is a product focused day that allows individuals and teams to meet with a Hydra Product Expert to discuss how Hydra features should be used in your environment, how other organisations are using them and advise on best practice.

The day is prepared in conjunction with your Hydra Administrator and is run with users on an individual basis or with logical groups with similar issues.

Key Activities:

  • Briefing session: This is for Hydra Management to gain an understanding from the Hydra Administrator of the key issues that need to be addressed; who they will be meeting, the plan structure and general usage of the system as background to the rest of the day.
  • One on One session: The Administrator will have prepared the individuals or teams, into one hour 'one to one' sessions which are issue focused. The client staff will come prepared with their issues and questions and access to the system to allow the Hydra Management Product Expert to take them through various options. In a day, Hydra Management would expect to perform five sessions of one hour each to gain the maximum benefit. The best way to run these sessions is with access to the live system so that the issue and response are clear to all involved.
  • Session close out: A final close out session with the Hydra Administrator to cover any findings and action points that may need addressing.
