Hydra Management's founder, Geoff Reiss, has pioneered the concepts of program management for over 20 years and has been involved since its inception. He led the team in developing Hydra, the first software solution to specifically address project portfolio and program management issues. He certainly has the qualifications for doing so after leading the development of the first project management software for the Apple Computer and later, IBM Compatible PC's.
